CGL Signs Contract with Kimberley Metals Group

Kimberley Metals Groups have completed the development of their Ridges Iron Ore project which is located approximately 165kms south east of Wyndham. Carting of iron ore from the mine site to the Wyndham port commenced in the second week of May and the company are on schedule for their first shipment of ore in June 2011.

KMG require diesel fuel for their mine site, road trains, stock pile facility and their tugs & bares and anticipate annual usage of 10M litres. CGL has signed a contract for exclusive supply of fuel until June 2013.

CGL will also provide pilotage services for the ships which will visit the port every 2 weeks. These are the largest ships that have ever been serviced by the ports and will anchor in deep water approximately 1.5kms from the wharf where they will be loaded using barges and the ships cranes.
